Gorgeous necklace made of 14 strands of genuine pearls. Some are smooth and others are baroque. I am a bit puzzled by this piece. The end caps where the strands feed into are sterling silver. Then you have the gold tone link chain, and the clasp is a spring ring that doesn’t have the lever on the top. (Made that way not broken). These kinds of spring rings are found on antique jewelry they were made prior to the kind with the lever on top. It’s odd that the caps are sterling and the chain is gold tone and not silver. Possibly the chain and the clasp were added at a later date, and someone used antique parts? Not sure. It’s gorgeous on, right at 16” at the longest, and tbh it’s not the easiest to get on and off due to the clasp. You could polish the silver parts. Beautiful necklace.
