I waited a while to find the right model to put these beautiful red and white chicken wings--from a pasture-raised chicken from a small farm--on to create a new pegasus custom. Gem Twist was just perfect, with his beautiful gallop and graceful form. I began by removing his mane and tail, as well as his seams and Breyer logo. I also carved his ears, nostrils, mouth, and hooves. He's been repainted to a gorgeous chestnut pinto with a mohair/wool mane and tail--and, of course, those incredible wings! His eyes, nostrils, mouth, and hooves have been glossed. The wings, which are permanently attached, do have just a little wear and tear as this was a chicken that got to hang out outside and live a good chicken-y life, but I've cleaned them up as best as I could and they look rather lovely. His white markings do have light texturing, and I make no promises as to LSQ, but he is truly a stunner.
He measures 14 1/2" long x 8 1/4" high x 24" wide. Will be shipped insured.
