This is a beautiful well kept piece of the past from the Victorian era probably about 1800s. Beautiful deep cut faceted crystal perfume flask has a sterling silver lid 925 Fine, the lid has floral designs on top. The lid has a tight fitting closure that snaps when closed. the flask can be put on a decorative chain to wear as a necklace. Interesting facts of this flask during the Victorian era, the scent was not worn but rather sniffed when one came upon unsavory smells in the local town or village. In modern times the flask allowed a lady to refresh her scent if she happened upon a gentleman she wanted to impress. Natural scents like florals. herbals and oils derived from citrus fruits were also used in the 1800 century. Very pretty! measures 4 3/4 length
No chips or flaws. This can be shiny silver if you prefer, but some don’t so I left it this way. If you purchase I can clean it and make it shiny if you tell me right away:) This would make a wonderful gift as it is in new condition
