1962 USAF N-4B Flying Mittens Cold War DSA Contract w/ Wool Inserts Large

Authentic Cold War era USAF N-4B flying mittens, issued under contract DSA-1724-62-C (1962). These are not the common 1970s–80s surplus examples, but an early Cold War set produced for U.S. Air Force crews during high-altitude and Arctic missions.

Complete with both outer shells and original 100% wool inserts (size Large), each with intact military specification tags. Features include olive nylon shell, leather palms, and sheepskin fur backs. Clear U.S. Air Force insignia remains visible, enhancing authenticity and display appeal.
