The Bosch LVF-4000C-D0550 is a 5 to 50 millimetre varifocal lens created for Bosch 960H DINION security cameras. It lets installers frame a wide doorway or tighten the view on a distant object without swapping lenses, giving more flexibility at each mounting point.

The lens matches the 960H sensor with edge-to-edge clarity, so important detail is not lost at the corners of the image. A bright F1.4 aperture gathers more light during dusk, dawn, or indoor scenes with limited illumination, helping the camera maintain usable footage without additional lighting.

When a site switches to infrared at night, IR-corrected glass keeps the scene in focus. This means the image stays sharp whether the area is lit by visible light during the day or infrared illuminators after dark.

Each glass surface carries an anti-reflective coating that limits flare and ghosting around headlights, street lamps, or other bright points. A built-in DC iris, connected through a four pin EIAJ plug, works with Bosch cameras to adjust exposure automatically as lighting changes.

The housing handles temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius and humidity as high as 93 percent. This durability makes the lens suitable for retail aisles, building lobbies, warehouses, parking structures, and other indoor or sheltered outdoor locations.
