The Axis 01060-001 is a vandal-resistant network dome camera that delivers dependable 1080p surveillance in demanding locations. With a 1/3 inch CMOS sensor and Axis Lightfinder technology, it keeps images usable even when the only illumination comes from a distant streetlamp or a dim emergency light.

The camera is fitted with a varifocal lens that ranges from 3 mm to 10 mm and offers 3.3x optical zoom. This flexibility lets you adjust the field of view after installation, whether you need to cover a school corridor, a retail checkout line, or the entrance of a parking garage.

A removable IR cut filter supports round-the-clock monitoring. In daylight the filter preserves natural color; at night it moves aside so the sensor can pick up the smallest amount of ambient light. Two-way audio, provided through a built-in microphone and line input or output, makes it possible to greet visitors, deter intruders, or coordinate with on-site staff without adding separate hardware.

Installation remains straightforward. Power over Ethernet carries both data and power through one network cable, and the integrated microSD card slot lets you record locally for redundancy or stand-alone operation.
