see photos for the condition it is still in good condition for its age, but the photo alligator skin is peeling in a small places on the edges not all edges, but some it really is gorgeous. It has brass riveted corners and the locks still work and snapping into place the handle is still very sturdy . The wood is a thin type of plywood i’m guessing
And the inside lining is a beautiful deep burgundy velvet type
