In the second adventure, "Northern Lights" by Robert Valentine, the Doctor crashes to Earth in the Arctic, only to find himself accompanied by an unusual phenomenon: the Aurora Borealis. As he encounters intrepid explorer Fridtjof Nansen, who is desperately trying to return home, the Doctor realizes that Nansen holds a crucial part in history. Can he save the future and prevent alien forces from closing in?
