The Sterling silver twists like a rope around a large oval Turquoise gemstone in this brooch inspired by Whitby's fishing heritage. There is even a street in Whitby called 'The Ropery' which is lined with tall buildings originally used to make long pieces of rope for the ship-building industry. Set with a horizontal bar pin. Dimensions: 26mm x 33mm, Turquoise; 20mm x 26mm.

Kingman turquoise is distinguished by its unique lustre, striking characteristics and sky-blue colour. Turquoise is the December birthstone.
