We also like the articulated knees and gusseted crotch, which provide the freedom of movement we need for our rides. When we're more concerned about getting wet from the inside out than outside in, we choose these light and breathable softshell bibs over waterproof bibs and ski pants to moderate our temperature and moisture levels when we're chasing hard after the powder.
