Designed for safe, non-contact voltage testing, the Amprobe VP-440 Non-Contact Voltage Detector fits conveniently in a shirt pocket, tool belt or pouch. The VP-440 identifies alternating current (AC) voltage from a distance of 0.16 inch (4 millimeter) to evaluate cables, circuit breakers, wall sockets, junction boxes, and other electrical wiring systems securely. The tester tip illuminate’s red in the presence of AC voltage between 50 to 1000V. It is powered by two alkaline AAA batteries and meets European Standards (EN) 61010-031 CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V. The VP-440 is designed for use by electricians, electrical contractors, and auto mechanics. FITS IN A SHIRT POCKET: Amprobe's reliable volt tester, the VP-440 Non-Contact Volt Probe doesn’t require much budget or demand much space.
