Greenlee EK1550FLXB Description
EK1550FLX Battery-powered, 15-ton, High-speed Crimping Tool is a hand-held, self-contained crimping tool intended to crimp aluminum and copper connectors onto electrical cable. The tool has a retraction stop feature which allows the operator to stop the retraction motion of the ram to shorten cycle time. The tool has a Bluetooth® connectivity and an LCD screen. The tool is protected by U.S. Patent No. 6,206,663, 6,276,186, 6,401,515, and 6,718,870.

- Features LED display screen communicating pressure and battery levels as well as tool diagnostics with real-time tool feedback
- Intelligent Crimping System Technology includes a pressure sensor that monitors the crimping force of each crimp and provides the operator a visual and audible alert if the force is below specifications
- State of the art 18V lithium ion (Li-ion) battery provides 70% more cycles per charge and faster cycle times
- Automatic Retraction Stop (ARS) which retracts the ram just enough to get ready for the next cycle saving time and energy
- LED light provides the operator with the battery charge and tool maintenance status
- Two-stage hydraulic system provides fast advance and power speed, saving time
- Forward handle position improves tool balance
- One trigger controls all tool functions
- Crimping head rotates 350°
- Tools automatically retract when the crimping cycle is complete
- Flip-top configuration, reduction in deflection, with improved crimp consistency
- Quick-release locking pin
- Utilizes "P" and "U" style crimping dies
- Overmolded tacky grip areas make gripping the tool easier and more comfortable for linemen
