Offered is a Vintage Tribal Ring Blue Green Eilat Stone In Intricate Filigree Adjustable Setting. It appears to be silver with goldwash although some of the gold is worn away.
It is an older ring. Marked Made In Israel and has a symbol of Hebrew letter 'Mem' or מ with the number 3 inside. The Mem means water in Hebrew and is often used to depict 'from', as everything comes from water.
Eilat stone is a mixture of several secondary copper minerals. These include malachite, azurite, turquoise, and chrysocolla. Eilat stone was also the first stone in the history of humankind people learnt how to extract copper from. And copper was highly valued in those far away times.
