Vintage Francie Bendable Leg Doll #1130 – Near Mint Japan – w/ #1223 “Yellow Bit” Outfit
Beautiful early Francie #1130 Bend-Leg doll, issued in 1965 with the scarce static waist body (non-TNT). Japan-made and marked ©1965 Mattel on head and ©1966 Mattel on body. She stands 11.25”, same scale as Casey and Twiggy.
Doll is near mint: bright factory makeup, vivid blush and lips, full rooted lashes, glossy flip hair with bangs, and tight bend-leg joints that hold poses. Crisp markings and clean, sturdy body.
She wears authentic #1223 “The Yellow Bit” (1968–69): yellow puff-sleeve dress with turquoise trim, sheer tights, squishy grey-blue bow shoes, and white vinyl starburst bag. Outfit shows light play wear but displays beautifully.
Highly collectible and very hard to upgrade, this near mint early Francie paired with her Yellow Bit outfit is a top-tier piece for any serious Barbie or Francie collection!
