This beautiful pair of English Medieval brass rubbings from St. George’s Church, Wrotham, England, completed in August 1973 by Richard J Ydstie
Each frame measures 27" in height, 10" length across, and 1" width.
Framed and well kept, these rubbings intricate details are a beautiful addition to any wall. Would make a great gift.
Rubbing of the brass pictures of Thomas Peckham (d 1515) in armor and wife Dorothy (d 1512) memorial brass in the floor of St George’s Church, Wrotham, Kent England. A will extract states that Thomas was "to be buried in the church of St George at Wrotham before the Rode besyde my wife"
Issues: (1) One of the hanger wires is broken and (2) Slight water damage (pictured) to the bottom of one of the pictures. Does not take away from the impact and beauty of these wall hangings.
Thanks for looking. Check out the other items in my shop!! I will bundle to save on shipping as possible. Open to reasonable offers.
