CERA Glass, a mid-century glassware manufacturer, was founded in Hackensack, NJ, in the 1950s by Anthony Velonis. Velonis, a silk-screen printing pioneer, used his skills to decorate elegant cocktail glasses, barware, often using 22- or 24-karat gold for accents. These specialty pieces were sold in high-end department stores.
