Tyco S Series Slot Car Cheetah S636 Candy Blue Running Chassis

For your consideration is a hard-to-find “S” series Cheetah slot car made by Tyco in 1967, catalog S636. This came in two colors: Candy Red and Candy Blue—this is the Candy Blue version. Finding original “S” series cars in this condition is getting harder and harder. Tyco slot cars, you know what this is. The condition is excellent, especially given that it’s 57 years old.

The paint and windshield are excellent. The chrome side exhausts and engine are excellent. No breaks or cracks. Screw posts are solid, both screws and rear weight are present. The wipers are lightly worn, and one of them does not spring back up. It comes on a running grey “S” series chassis with original tires (tires are in nice condition) and slot pin. I did some light cleaning and oiling. This has been a “shelf queen” in my collection.
