BRAND NEW (with original foil) Vintage towel designed and signed by Lois Long for Kay Dee Hand Prints, Rhode Island, USA.
Gorgeous hand printed graphic of foods with corresponding calories.
Thick linen with a gorgeous Ecru color background and contrasting reds, oranges and greens.
Measures approx. 30" x 17 1/4".
History of Lois Long:
LOIS LONG, who was also known as Lois de Antonio, was an American artist, illustrator, fabric designer, writer, wit, world traveler. She was born in 1918 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The designs created by her in the 50's were whimsical and cartoonish. The whimsy of her early designs was replaced with beautifully rendered, meticulously detailed depictions of nature printed in warm, earthy colors popular in the 70's. The diversity of her design repertoire is a true testament to her talent as an artist. She died on July 19, 2005.
