Nine volume hardcover set of The American Mineralogist: Journal of the Mineralogical Society of America edited by Walter Hunt & many others (George Banta, 1921-1934). Set contains vol. 6 (1921), vol. 7 (1922), vol. 9 (1924), vol. 12 (1927), vol. 14-17 (1929-1932), and vol. 19 (1934). Each volume contains all twelve issues of the journal, originally published monthly. Richly illustrated and with several color plates and fold-out images/diagrams. Bindings appear to have been reinforced. Gilt lettering to spines. Some mild rubbing/scuffing to boards with corners bumped and general shelf wear around the edges. Bindings remain quite firm and spines fairly straight, though binding material is visible in some gutters. Hinges secure. Mild soiling to outer edges of text blocks with a few of the book having waviness to outer edges, likely due to humidity, the worst of which is shown in last photo. Tanning pages.
