Handmade and the initials PW are carved on the back. There is also a hand written list on back of different types of wood. By looking at the piece it could be a list of different types of wood used to make this unique piece. Different pieces were carved from different wood and then pieced together to for this collective piece. I do not know how old but had modern screws and wall hanger. Measures 16in tall x 8.5 in at widest part.
