Hydrolyzed Silk Protein provides moisture, strength, and shine to the hair. Hydrolyzed silk protein is a form of silk protein that has been broken down into smaller molecules, allowing it to better penetrate the hair shaft and provide conditioning benefits. In Biosilk Thermal Shield, hydrolyzed silk protein is used to help strengthen and protect the hair from heat damage. Made with Dimethicone a silicone derivative that is commonly used in hair care products as a conditioning agent and to provide heat protection. It forms a protective barrier on the hair strands, helping to minimize the damage caused by heat styling tools and reduce frizz. Panthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is a moisturizing ingredient that can penetrate the hair shaft and help to retain moisture, providing hydration to the hair and improving its overall condition.
